Drug Awareness
As District Attorney of the
Mountain Judicial Circuit, I am sworn to serve and protect the citizens of the
Mountain Judicial Circuit.
Our duties include
attempting to combat the adverse consequences illegal drugs have in the
community. I
am committed to educating the people I serve on the effects of the misuse of
drugs not only on our young people, but anyone that chooses to use them. I am
attaching photos shared with us from the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office, 501
SE Hawthorne Blvd., Suite 350 • Portland, OR 97214, to be used for educational
purposes only. These pictures will graphically show you the effects that illegal
substances (Methamphetamine) will have on the human body. It is called "THE
FACES OF METH", I urge each and every parent to please talk with your kids about
drugs frequently. Share the pictures with your kids and make them aware of what
could happen to them if they make bad decisions. We can all make a difference if
we work together. It is my hope that this tool will help you in that endeavor.
